It’s Quote Friday!!

Happy Friday!

I hope you guys are liking our new weekly blog set-up! on Friday’s we are going to share a quote and reflect a little about it. We chose Friday as the quote day because it is the last day of the working week and I think it is important to take a second and think about the things that truly matter. We are an online boutique and somedays we might think of clothes as a synonym of world hunger not because it is in any shape or form the same thing but well, because it is our job, and things go wrong and it’s life and we get caught up in the complexity of it. Sooo, I think Friday is a good day to let it all go and simply, relax!

Last week I went to the movies with my family and watched the movie “Red Dawn”; although I liked the movie, there was one quote that stuck to my head. Maybe because I can relate to it, but I have been thinking about it all week. “We’ve all lost something.” In life, you are always going to lose, whether you like it or not. People start losing ever since they are babies yet, no one gets used to it. We lose a sports match, we lose a personal belonging, we get lost in the city, we lose our grandparents, we fail a test (losing), we lose a friend (fight), we lose our pets, we lose friends, we lose parents.

It does not matter how much we want something, how much we love something or someone, one day you have it, the next day, you dont. It’s pretty simple, but it is so hard to understand. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is, losing is something humans are not capable of understanding, of accepting, we will never get used to it, it is just a matter of learning to live with it.

I’m starting to learn to live with my lost and I’m starting to smile more not to fake it until I make it but because I am finally making it 🙂

Winter Sundress

Some people might think that certain pieces of clothing strictly go with a certain season of the year. Sometimes it is true, you do not want to wear a leather jacket in summer but there are some things than can be worn in different seasons. Dresses, I feel are the category of clothing that gets the most judgements; they are short, sleeveless and light on the fabric but that is no reason to not wear them in the fall or winter.

Dresses can be paired with tights, boots, jackets and scarfs.

And the Style Icon is…

So, I think I have previously posted things about this girl… some may think that she got everything handed to her because of her reality shows and in a way I’m sure it did help but Lauren Conrad knows how to do business which is why I like her so much. I follow her everywhere (literally…twitter, instagram, pinterest, etc.) so that I’m up to date with what she is doing and see what she is wearing!

All of our Style Icon posts will be a little different, just to keep things fun! Today, since it is our first post I will be sharing with you 3 facts about Lauren Conrad.

1. Born and raised in Laguna Beach, California
2. Fashion designer- Paper Crown & LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s
3. She likes to pair high and low prices when creating an outfit

What I love the most about Lauren’s style?
The fact that she is never too made up, and does not use excessive jewelry to make a fashion statement.

Here are two pictures that resemble Lauren’s style (cute and sophisticated)  and we paired them with similar styles from Androbel.

Inspiration Mondays!

So, my sister and I have come up with new ideas for this blog. You will be seeing the difference this week but for today we are posting pictures that inspire us; I think it is important to remind yourself every day why it is that you do what you do, whether it is at work or at home, whether it is with your boyfriend, girlfriends or family because you do not want to get lost in the routine of life. Since Mondays is the start of the working week and things start to get hectic, I thought it would be a good idea to do a post every Monday about inspirational stuff so we get motivated!!

I chose this picture because I loved the bow belt and the sparkly skirt. On Mondays I’m always like “Can I wear sweatpants? but the reality is… no! dress nice, do things…big things!

This picture just inspires me to live in a house like this… it’s old school, I know, but I love this style.

Be a warrior! Try your hardest, never give up.

Last week I slacked off and did not work out as much as I wanted to, so yes, this week I will be Beastin it! (pic.from blogalites)

We hope you have a Blossoming Week!
