Welcome to the new addition to Androbel- LADZAL CAH
This new project was born when Luis came up with the idea of bringing artisan products from Guatemala to USA and I (Belen) thought: “ok, let’s do it!” In this globalized world, everything is being mass produced and the quality and little details about each product are being left to the side; we find that by offering handmade products from Guatemala we are not only bringing you beautiful one of a kind items but also giving you and inside scoop to our Latin Culture in an effort to help those in need. Ladzal Cah means: Joint Community, which brings us to talk about charity!
Luis and I have been blessed our entire lives with everything we have ever needed and more, which is why we thought of adding a charity to our little project. With this charity, our mission is to find a way to help other families, especially children with low resources that cannot afford a meal at all. We hope we can constantly raise funds to help others in need so that they have better nutrition. With better nutrition they are fulfilling one of their survival needs, which will help them achieve their dreams.
We believe in the 4 aspects and L.O.V.E.
We hope you join us in our little project and help us spread the love.

Live the “Alegre” Life!

On Monday you will be able to shop all these styles and more! YAAAY!! Don’t worry everything is under $50.
WOHOO!! No se preocupen, todo vale menos de $50.

Woman Crush: Alexa Chung

I don’t think I’ve done a girl crush post in a while, I think I used to call them “Style Icon” posts but I think: “Girl Crush” is more of a true statement. This girl, or well, woman, has been my girl crush for a while now. The way she dresses is amazing, she takes any piece of clothing and makes it stylish. Maybe it’s because she’s tall or maybe because she never overdoes her makeup, or maybe because her hair looks so natural. I don’t know the reason behind her awesomeness but she can take a top as simple as a v-neck and make it fashionable. The other reason why I love her? she made flats be fashionable again! Who wants to walk in heels aaaaall the time? Not me, and clearly not her.

Obviamente no yo, y claramente ella tampoco :).

As far as her personality, I’ve heard she’s not your typical “oh, I’m so nice” kinda girl, after all she’s British. I don’t know her but I think I’m ok with a girl being a little tough if she dresses like her. We all need a little roughness to get through life, so good for her!

Cobalt Blue

Sunday Funday outfit. Wore these skinnies on Saturday night for drinks but it was a short night and I couldn’t get enough of them so, I wore them again 🙂 Do you ever do that?
We went for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner to a Middle Eastern restaurant and it was delish! Kaboji is a must if you are ever in the North Miami Beach area. I think I liked it so much because they had Turkish coffee! it was the first time I had it and I can’t figure out if I like it or not but I’m glad I tried it. Love trying things from different countries 🙂

Butt shot!

Well, this weekend was a good one! I worked, watched a movie, hung out with my best friend, ate yummy food and spent time with my family and cutie boyfriend. Awesome!
This is what I wore on Saturday, a day full of morning errands then followed by lunch, then some work stuff, then a little hookah, then some more work and ended with some drinks. The oversize sweater kept my outfit very chill which I love, love.

Me encanta 🙂

Have an amazing week!

Let’s Talk

Today we will talk about this because last Friday I had my first class of the semester and my professor asked this question: What are your goals and aspirations in life? Well, when I read the question, in my head I answered: Being happy. After that, I started thinking (why doesn’t my mind ever stop?!) and thought he actually meant, What are your goals and aspirations… when it comes to business? Why would I think he meant that? Maybe because I’m in business class? I don’t know.
Of course I was the first person to be called on and I answered: To be successful enough to be able to travel. Yes, this is true; the big reason why I have a 9-5 job while starting and building my own business on the side, while going to grad school, while trying to have a life is because I want to be able to accommodate my family and have enough left to travel and see different places… I don’t think there is greater compensation for hard work than travel. But, what I’m trying to get to is that my biggest goal and aspiration in life is to be happy and while being happy transmit that happiness to others; whether it is by saying Hi to them, or giving them fashion advice, or selling them a top from the store… anything counts. Everyone should be happy and that is my greatest intention.
So yeah, it bothered me that I chose my “business” answer over my “personal” answer but what bothered me the most was that almost everyone’s answer in the class referred to money. Their answers went something like this:

– “Money”
– “Make money”
– “Be a Billionaire”

MMM What?! If I thought my answer was shallow, what are these? They are linking life straight with money; to them, Life = Money. Not cool.
Anyway, I don’t want to make this too long. My whole point is: Money can buy you lots of things, we all know this… but it won’t buy you a family, it won’t buy you real friends and it will never buy you happiness. Life cannot be linked with money because money can disappear with the simple touch of a button and then what? You want to die? Nope, nope, I’m thinking we are too young for that!
Whatever you do in life, do it well and do it with good intention. Find the subliminal message behind it; if you can’t find it… create it!

What do think about the answers in my class? How do you measure your success? What are your goals and aspirations in life?
Tell me!

I’ve been waiting some time to write this but, here it is!
Can’t believe how time flies and how life can change so quickly. Over a year ago I opened my online boutique and although it has been a long and tough road, I’m happy to have done it, I’m happy I’m still doing it and I’m happy for the new things coming.
Well, let me tell you a little story. Luis and I have teamed up and we are starting a fun new project! He’s from Guatemala so we will be bringing you guys awesome, artisan products woohoo! Although my style is a little more classic, I do love all of these handmade products because of the design, color and texture. If you follow me on Instagram you probably have already seen the bag Luis got me for Christmas (if not, click here) isn’t it a beauty?! Well, it’s things like that we will be offering the world now (b/c they are so beautiful!), along with another great thing but I’ll keep that surprise for latersss 🙂

Run, Run!!

It’s Sunday night and I’m sitting in my sister’s bed trying to watch Grey’s Anatomy but my mom and dad decided it was time to try to fix the closet’s door… perfect timing! haha
Ok so, when I take blog pictures is typically after I get home from work and it’s around the time when the sun is coming down so my typical words are “run, run” or “hurry, hurry”. My sister took these pictures on day last week when it got cold again in South Florida, yay! 🙂 ok. I’m a little tired, this weekend was all work (school and Androbel) and little play; not complaining, because it was still fun <3.
