Cute Edge

Hello!
I’m sitting in class as I type this but I think I should listen to my professor. I turned in my project wohoo! Ok. I’ll be back to finish this in a little bit.  Ok so, let’s talk about this outfit. I wore this on Saturday for my sister’s birthday; she turned 18, wow! Well, it was going to be chilly at night so I wanted to wear my leather jacket and my booties. The outfit was starting to look a little too edgy so I put on a girly top. Peplum tops, do you like them? I have mixed feelings about them because I don’t like clothes being too tight on me but this particular one I do like. It doesn’t have a back zipper and the cinch at the waist is not sewed, it’s strecthy and 100% silk. Cute print, cool colors, comfortable and elegant… Everything I need, do you like it?

Hooola!

Friday is here!
I feel like every week I say it went by really fast, but it’s just the truth. Today I had a presentation for school and had to dress business casual… I went to my moms closet and this bow blouse caught my eye; I think I did pretty well with keeping my outfit a little fashionable while being business like as well. The presentation went great despite my nervousness so I’m happy about that!
I’m sitting next to my sister and she’s playing some “depressing” songs but she says she likes songs that have feelings in them. One of her songs is this one I’ve posted the video for at the bottom. I recommend not looking at the video because it’s a little sad but the idea of the song, I like.
I leave you this Friday with this thought… “High hopes, oh, when it all comes to an end… but the world keeps spinning around.”
Now, go out, get drinks and you will see how you’ll start spinning along with the world! haha

Do your Brand Homework

GREYLIN

Dora Lim, Greylin’s founder grew up in Brazil where her parents owned a manufacturing business; she spent most of her afternoons doing her homework at the factory dazing off at the beautiful process of creating a piece of clothing.
Dora’s parents wanted her to work for the family business but just as every other teenager she refused to go to school for fashion. Later she realized fashion design was her true fashion and enrolled at FIDM. After graduating she started working for the family business and in Spring 2010 she launched Greylin.
Before launching Greylin, Dora learned she was pregnant and Greylin was the name she will be giving to her baby girl; to her surprise, her baby was a boy, so instead of naming her boy Greylin which would have been a little weird, she named her other baby (clothing line) Greylin!
Greylin is filled with abstract textiles, bold patterns, interior design and colors. Dora said “”I sought out to build a collection that was modern, easy, yet classic” and I believe she did a great job accomplishing that!

I wanted to create this post because I think it’s important for our readers to know about the brands we offer and why we offer them. Greylin is one of my two favorite brands offered at Androbel because they take classic cuts and turn them into modern pieces by incorporating color and patterns. I always say, quality is key in clothing, and Greylin hits the right spot for this as well. There is no way anyone could go wrong with Greylin 🙂

No Filter Tuesday

Confession: Having my picture taken is not my favorite. I’m afraid of the camera lense; it’s intimidating. My way to cope with it is by doing silly things while my sissy laughs and takes these shots.
I can just hear my mom in the background… “you didn’t brush your hair?…you are not wearing makeup?… is that ok??” and my response being…. “yes mommy, it’s my blog.”
So here it is, Our Tuesday Treasure. I loved “breaking it down” in this brown, silk, twisted front blouse, not to mention the stretchability of my bright orange shorts; without these shorts I wouldn’t have been able to pull off my sexy dance moves.

Fancy Day

Hi!
I always always do outfit posts with casual wear but thought I would change it up a little bit this week and do a little something extra. This amazing navy dress as you can see has awesome color mixture with its print so I decided to style it with “natural” accessories. The bracelet and matching ring I’m wearing are from a Portuguese company called Uniquely and they specialize in using cork for fashion! It is a way for utilizing natural resources and decrease waste. They are a 100% natural and environmentally friendly line and I love love it!

Bracelet and ring: Not up yet but if you are dying for them, e-mail me at mbaquerizo@androbel.com

It’s Holiday Season and we want to thank you for reading our posts and visiting our website. My sister loves Kensie and I love Greylin so we thought what an excellent idea it would be if we put both of our favorite brands on sale for the remainder of December!

Kensie is a lovely brand that incorporates fashion with pretty and a little bit of a vintage touch to it.

Greylin is truly fabulous. Greylin is rich in colors and prints. They cut of the apparel is out of this world; everything is designed to fit a woman’s body and I cannot say how much I love that! The material is soft and rich. I love love Greylin!

Wow, your blouse is precious!

Hi!

Here it is!

As I walked down the stairs in my house, my grandma looked and me she said “wow! that blouse is precious!” and I just could not agree more. The details on this bow blouse are incredible. Sometimes a button down can be looked at as being masculine but the bow, the print and the pretty cut of this one makes it far down my masculine list of tops. So, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the Greylin Yellow Bow Blouse (link takes you to the website).
Ok, so before I started my boutique I was hesitant about buying jeans for the store because I have always had a hard time finding the “right” pair. I felt like they were always too tight and that I couldn’t move in them, so… on a buying trip with my dad I saw this booth that sold denim and I was like ok, if I’m going to buy jeans I have to try them on. And so, here they are! the first jeans to ever make me feel comfortable. It Jeans is an amazing brand, they don’t stretch out after being worn one time, they are soft, stylish, comfortable and most importantly their rise is not too low so ladies, you don’t have to worry about showing things you don’t want to show 🙂 Get them here! It Jeans Ultra Skinny
I hope you like this post 🙂

Flirty Saturday

Hi!

Well, it’s Saturday and you probably want to go out and release all that stress that your work week produces, and this is the perfect outfit!

Although I’m a big fan of red nails, red lips and sensuality I have never been a fan of trashy. I do not believe sexy is a synonym for slutty; you can dress classy, elegant and at the same time be sexy. Sexiness comes from the way you portray yourself; the way you walk, speak and act… you don’t have to “in your face” it.

Having said that, I think this is a flirty outfit perfect for your night out with friends 🙂

Awesomeness!
