What I wore

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend; I did 🙂 I had class Friday and Saturday so I’m a little tired but it was still fun! Some of my family came into town and tonight my cousin arrives, so this will be a crazy week too. I kind of like crazy. It keeps me moving. Keeps me focused.

Last Thursday, we attended a networking event and met some cool people from the Miami area. All very young and creative 🙂 I posted a picture on my instagram about a little painting that was gifted to me; that’s the kind of creative I’m talking about. Cardboard, paint and a brush. Pretty cool!  This is what I wore:

Holaa! Buenos Dias!

Espero que todos hayan tenido un buen fin de semana. Yo tuve clases el Viernes y Sabado pero igual fue super divertido aunque estoy un poco cansada hoy! Ayer llegaron mis tios a la casa y hoy viene mi prima entonces esta semana tambien sera un poco loca jajaja pero en verdad me gusta loca. Me hace organizarme mejor.

El Jueves, fuimos a un evento de networking y conocimos a gente muy creativa 🙂 En mi instagram puse una foto de un mini cuadro; carton, pintura y un pincel es lo unico que necesita alguna gente para ser super creativos. Super cool! Este fue mi look 🙂

This button down is super comfy and I love the little tribal accents it has but, it’s a little sheer so I wear a nude tank top underneath 🙂

Cobalt Blue

Hi! 

Sunday Funday outfit. Wore these skinnies on Saturday night for drinks but it was a short night and I couldn’t get enough of them so, I wore them again 🙂 Do you ever do that? 

We went for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner to a Middle Eastern restaurant and it was delish! Kaboji is a must if you are ever in the North Miami Beach area. I think I liked it so much because they had Turkish coffee! it was the first time I had it and I can’t figure out if I like it or not but I’m glad I tried it. Love trying things from different countries 🙂

Este es mi look del Domingo…. el Sabado por la noche use los mismo pantalones pero como no fue una noche super larga y me encantaron estos skinnies me los puse otra vez! Ustedes hacen eso?? 

Fuimos a comer comida del Oriente y esta riquisima! Si alguna vez estan por North Miami Beach, les recomiendo Kaboji. Creo que me gusto tanto porque por primera vez tome cafe Turco y en verdad no estoy segura si me gusto o no pero me gusto haberlo probado. Me encanta probar cosas de diferente paises, creo que es la manera clave de conocer otra cultura 🙂

YAAAY!

Hi! 

Sunday night and I’m writing this post. This past week it was cold in Miami woohoo!!! I was so happy. I love dressing for cold weather, maybe because it never gets cold here but I like it a lot. This day I had to go to the doctors and was late to the office but I’m ok  :). It was a cloudy day but my red apple skinnies made it a bright one!

Es Domingo de noche mientras escribo esta entrada. La semana pasada hizo frio finalmente aqui en Miami woohoo! Me encanta vestirme para el frio, quizas porque aqui nunca hace frio pero de igual manera me encanta. Este dia fui al doctor y llegue tarde a la oficina pero estoy bien :). Fue un dia nublado pero mis super pantalones rojos hicieron el dia un poco mas alegre!

Here at Last

 

FRIDAY! 

Thank God. This week I have been really tired; maybe because I didn’t really sleep on Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday haha but it was worth it. This outfit is actually from Saturday but I didn’t get a chance to take pictures. I was going to take them on Monday but, this happened, so I took them at 5:45 PM yesterday. FINALLY! 

Initially I was going to wear these skinny pants with the white top and a leopard blazer but the blazer is a little too thick so I opted for this 2-sided cardigan. The cardigan is from Androbel and I have had my eye on it for a while… it was not until the temperature dropped a little here in South Florida that I decided to get it. Now, I’m in love with it; I think it’s really fun to have 2 cardigans in 1. Do you like it?  

By the way… Doesn’t the sky look magical in this next picture? 

VIERNES!!

Menos mal! Esta semana he estado super cansada, quizas porque no dormi mucho del Sabado al Martes jajaja pero valio la pena. Este look es del Sabado en verdad pero no me pude tomar fotos ese dia. El Lunes me iba a tomar las fotos pero paso esto, entonces me tome las fotos ayer en la tarde. FINALMENTE!

Al principio me iba a poner los pantalones rojos con la blusa blanca y una chaqueta de estampado leopardo pero la chaqueta es un poco gruesa entonces escogi este suetersito. Este sueter me encanta porque es como tener 2 en 1. Las rayas lo hacen cool y las florales lo hacen lindo y cuando se habla de ropa los 2 van muy bien. Lo habia estado viendo en mi tienda desde hace un rato pero apenas bajaron las temperaturas un poco aqui en Miami decidi comprarlo!  Les gusta?

A proposito… no les encanta el cielo en la foto de arriba?

I dont know about you

Hi!
I don’t know how to start this post. I started this blog because I wanted to share my fashion sense (If I have any?) but I have found myself using the blog as a journal of some sort. I wanted to write about how I felt yesterday. I feel like I’m always bouncing from place to place, from work to school, from school to home, from home to meet friends, from friends to boyfriend, from boyfriend to sister, from sister to blog… I’m always moving around… in my car. I feel like I spend most of my days in a car, on the highway. I have plans, I have goals I want to achieve so I just go, go, go and take the people that want to “go” with me. I love this; I know that the people in my life are there because they love me because they put up with me every single day. I don’t show it too much but I stress, a lot. I worry too much, I worry about my family, my friends, my love, my school, my work. I worry about them all the time; I always want to give 100% to everything I do and maybe that’s my problem. I believe the reason I’m able to keep my friends and my family and my job by my side is because I’m never satisfied and I always want more; but, why do I spend so much time satisfying others and not myself? I don’t know. I mean, I feel bad about writing this because it looks like I’m complaining but that’s the least I want to do; I’m actually very grateful for everyone in my life. I just don’t know when was the last time I did something for myself. When was the last time I read a book, played volleyball, watched a chic-flick, worked out for real, went to get a manicure? I just can’t remember. Yes, in life we have to make sacrifices and time is the thing we sacrifice most of but sometimes it just feels like too much. And yes, what’s the hurry? I’m very young and I have a lifetime to achieve everything I want to but wouldn’t that be… too expected?
Again, for all of my friends reading this, I love you all I’m not trying to complain I’m just spinning in a thousand directions so, I’ll just leave you all with this… I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22.

Hi!

We recently found this picture of Lauren Conrad at an event before the Golden Globes and she was wearing her usual skinnies, with a white top and red apple blazer. cute, huh?
